New Road

The new improved continental-style shared space of New Road,
where cars, taxis, bikes and pedestrians co-exist happily (photo taken 4 June 2008).

New Road as it was! Was there any point to having a cycle lane
in New Road, when one end is a building site…

…the middle was used for parking…

…and the other end was used as a loading bay for the new library site!
